The Stillness of Dirk Bogarde
Actor Dirk Bogarde in I Could Go On Singing, 1963
Today marks the centenary of actor and writer Dirk Bogarde’s birth.
I’ve been a fan for just over 20 years and I finally got a chance to write a piece covering what I love about his acting. I’m thrilled that the official website run by his estate/family have published it. Enjoy The Stillness of Dirk Bogarde. I hope it will encourage you to seek out his films.
I'm a writer specialising in the weird and macabre and Queer Theory forms the backbone of my work. I'm represented by Jenny Brown Associates. My debut novel, Goblin, published by Saraband, is out now. I recently completed my second novel, sci-fi thriller HellSans. View all posts by Ever Dundas
